How I’ve Dealt with Criticism

I’m crummy at dealing with criticism. It usually plunges me to a deep, dark pit. Recently, a reader let me know how she felt about my recent post about skin showing in Authentic Parenting in a Postmodern Culture. I came across as judgmental and harsh. Honestly, that was not my intention. I was trying to make light of the situation for my own sake, because if I took everything to heart, I’d be a mess. That’s not to say I don’t examine myself in light of everything. I do. But I do so carefully, trying to give myself grace in the criticism (not easy for me to do).

So, please accept my apologies for making light of the situation.
