When we were missionaries in France, we found out we sold our home back in Texas to a conman which necessitated we go into foreclosure (kind of like a forced foreclosure). Obviously, the whole scenario was very painful, bewildering and demoralizing. Especially since the man had attended our church!

Imagine, though, how breathless I was when I read this account today. Please take a moment to read the story about a woman who bought a foreclosed home and gave it back to the previous owner. Even cooler, the generous woman is from our town. Now that’s grace. Lord willing, someday perhaps we can do the same. Because we know what it’s like to lose a house.
