One of the things I’ve done in the past that has revolutionized my time with Jesus has been creating little art devotional journals. So I’ll be posting mine in hopes of inspiring you to take your time with Jesus out of the box and into the art supply box.
Todays is the actual paper Pastor Mohammed gave me in Ghana when he gave me a new name: Ganguni, which means Whom do I favor? It reminded me of 1 Corinthians 1:27 where God chooses the foolish things of the world to shame the wise. So there’s a picture of me as a young girl, not realizing that someday God would choose me to be His daughter. I liken it to God finding me like a hidden, unremarkable pebble, hence the rock metaphor.
Thank You Jesus for choosing me, for spying me among the bigger rocks. Thank You for bestowing Your favor upon me. So undeserved am I, but so thankful. Amen. Amen. So be it.
