We passed $25,000 folks. And as of last night at midnight, the Not Marked campaign is over. I have to start this with Scripture:

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever!” Ephesians 3:20-21 NLT.

When I started this indiegogo campaign in August, I truly, truly worried that the project wouldn’t fund. But God has done infinitely more than I asked. And He has used this month-long journey to deeply encourage me in this writing ministry (and speaking too).

I’m reminded of this Scripture as well: “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-5 NLT

I believe God has fulfilled this verse in my life (and yours). He has comforted me in many trials, including this journey of healing from sexual abuse. For years, I was immobilized regarding this trauma. Many years I kept it silent. And then during the healing process, I wondered if I’d ever, ever, ever get well. I certainly NEVER envisioned that I would be whole enough to actually encourage someone else in their journey.

But God has interesting plans--to heal me not merely for my sake, but for yours.

Impossible joy is on the horizon, a joy I’m living in the now, no longer haunted by the specter of sexual abuse. And because of your prayers and support, many more are going to have access to that message of hope. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
