The Weirdest Amazon Book Cover Ever

Here’s a story that proves the adage, You Can’t Judge a Book By It’s Cover (or spine for that matter).

So I ordered a book.

It’s one I’d had on my Kindle, but loved it so much, I wanted in my hot little hands because she teaches how to make cheese, and I love cheese.

Here’s a picture of the cover of the book I ordered.

And here’s a picture of the  entire cover of the book I received:    full

I am not making this up! The cover is from I Am Not Myself These Days by Josh Kilmer-Purcell. And the spine is from At the Root of This Longing by Carol L. Flinders. The back? Well, thankfully the back is from Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver.

The gizzards of the book is all Kingsolver and cheese making and garden joy. But my question is, how in the world did this happen? Is it a publicity stunt by all three authors? (Mighty clever if so). Or a printing error gone strangely wrong?

Amazon, what happened?

Q4u: What’s your theory? The crazier the better. The best conspiracy theorist will receive a copy of one of my books, your choice.
