Ever look at your child and marvel?

Today I did that.

Julia, our sweet little bunny of a daughter, had her tonsils taken out by (I kid you not) Dr. Ripp. She was so brave.

Surgery was swift, as was waking up. The nurses said she was such a big girl. No crying. Just wide-eyed worry.

She’s eating ice cream and pudding and jello and shakes and Popsicles. And she’s hopping mad she can’t go outside to play. Spunky little thing!

So pray for Julia, that she’ll endure rest, that her throat would feel better, that she’d return to normal soon.
