Today’s lent-art represents a real struggle to find joy when difficulties darken my perspective. It’s when I sing that the light gets a word in edgewise.

(Aside: I see so many imperfections in my pieces. It’s hard to share them, as I realize my novice stature as an artist. But I’m learning imperfection is beautiful too, in its own flawed way. Isn’t that where Gods beauty gets to shine? Through our broken attempts?)
