3-4 – Vonda Vestal

Mar 6, 2017Restory Show

Vonda Vestal is a dear, dear friend of mine who is a teacher and a speaker. In fact, she spoke at the Restory Conference last year, making a huge impact with her story. (She’s blurry in this photo because that girl can PREACH, and she moves while she talks!)

How Our Stories Intersected

Vonda and I met because our friend Brandon (her husband) told us he met someone special, and we were so excited to meet her. So we’ve known her and Brandon since before they were married. They also came on a mission trip with us to Montreal, and I had the privilege of seeing her minister to others. She is a gem. I will never forget when we were singing worship songs in French because it was the first time she’d heard worship music in another language. She was so moved, moved to tears.

That’s a strong indication of her heart. I fully believe Vonda will be sharing her story more and more as the years move on. Would you pray for her that God would release her to speak?

In today’s podcast, Vonda speaks openly about racism, what it’s like to be a racially mixed marriage, and her deep love for Jesus. I know you’ll be blessed beyond belief.

As in all my episodes, I pray for you at the end. It’s my sincere hope that you’ll walk away from the Restory Show changed and challenged.

The End

  • If this episode has literally knocked your socks off (sorry if your feet are now cold), would you please consider telling your friends and enemies and pets?
  • And leaving a review will help get the restory show in many more earbuds. Thanks in advance!
