I had the privilege of receiving a scholarship to last year’s Relevant Conference. I learned so much, and God really helped me hone who I was as a blogger and gave me great direction there. Not only that, but I got to connect with so many awesome women.
So I’m super excited to announce the Relevant Conference’s spanking new name and logo. It’s now called Allume (the overall ministry) and the conference is Allume Social. Cool, huh? Allume comes from the lovely French word Illume, which means to light or illuminate. Of course, that makes me smile because, as you know, I’m oh-so-francais. (Mais, oui!)
Allume is the community that is all about Christ invading our souls and us reflecting His light out to the world, via the online space and in our spheres of influence – home and beyond. At Allume you’ll find articles, podcasts, videos, and all kinds of goodness to encourage you in the Light.
Allume Social is the Christian women’s social media conference that focuses on ministering to the woman, the blogger, the story teller. We want to love well, encourage, and spur women on to shine the Light that lives within them via the online space.
Here’s a happy pic from my time there when my friend Sarah Markley and I (who were roomies) hung out. We’ll be speaking at Allume Social this year.
To celebrate, tonight there will be a Twitter part-ay where you could win a full scholarship to the conference! Woot! And I’ll be there at the conference this year as a speaker (how fun is that?) The skinny: It’s tonight at 9pm EST. Use #allume as the hashtag.
