Today I read this article in the Seattle Times about a teacher who “touched” many, many girls in inappropriate ways. It sickens me. But more than that is the district’s penchant to DEFEND such a man, to hear time and time again that he was doing these terrible things and yet do NOTHING about it. What kind of society protects its abusers and looks the other way from victims? I just don’t understand. Read the article and tell me if you think the same way.
