We had a wonderful thanksgiving celebration. Twenty people in all crowded (and I mean crowded) into our small living/dining room area to “manger” on turkey, stuffing, cranberries, beans, Waldorf salad, sweet potatoes, bread and more.
We invited Frode and his family, Sophie’s friend Melanie and her family, Jude from Wales, Helene from France (and California), the Heyman family, and ourselves, of course.
It was loud. It was fun. We were thankful. We ate a lot. Patrick made an amazing pumpkin cheesecake from this month’s Bon Appetit.
It was good to be with friends new and old, celebrating a bit of our heritage.
