Ordinary Mom, Extroardinary God and The Mother Load: What’s the connection?

Feb 2, 2005Family Uncaged, Find joy today, Write!

Yesterday, February 1st, Harvest House released Ordinary Mom, Extraordinary God officially. Those interested in buying it can go to a local Christian bookstore and request it, or go here or here or here.

Another book released by Harvest House in conjunction with Hearts at Home is called The Mother Load by Mary Byers. I had the privilege of meeting Mary in Portland, Oregon where we spoke at a regional Hearts at Home conference. Here is my review for her book:

The Mother Load is a timely book written with humor and candor for overtired moms. In it, I realized how little I take time for myself and what a beautiful gift it would be to my children if I did. Mary Byers writes with experience and she conveys her mommy advice with a have-a-cup-of-coffee-with-me-and-relax attitude. Moms in need of refreshment will be challenged and encouraged through the pages of this book. Highly recommended!

I pray the Lord uses both of these books to encourage and strengthen mothers!
