More than 5K and I didn’t die

I’ve had this 3-mile barrier lodged in my mind (and legs). I couldn’t seem to push myself beyond running three miles. Today, by God’s grace and a few blisters, I ran 3.5 miles and did not die! I’m alive! I think my face is still red. I composed a little poem while I ran, as God dusted me with flowers from a spring tree:

God kisses me
cherryblossoms frosting me
like snowflakes
as He crowns
my soul
with springtime
