Oh how I love this verse:
“Yes, Lord, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts.” Isaiah 26:8
Reminds me of the worship song that always makes me cry, the refrain of which is “Lord it’s Your renown, Your eternal fame that I live for now. It’s Your name. It’s Your name.” It’s his fame, His renown, His name that compels me to serve Him, to make Him known, to write for his glory.
So, I revisited this verse today. Immediately after reading it, I received a little beep that I had new mail. This email came from a Korean reader of Ordinary Mom, Extraordinary God:
I am Korean.

Praise you to be know.
I am poor at English.
I love Jesus.
Jesus in me, I in Jesus.
we are one.
Oh thank You dear Jesus!!! His renown is all over this world.
