Well!

I received responses from several of the folks I’ve sent novels out to. So cool! Today I heard this:

• Beth Moore’s peeps sent me a form “Thank you for your kindness” card. Scrawled at the very bottom in someone’s real-live handwriting, it reads: “Thank you for the books for Beth.”
• Laura Bush sent me a non-form letter. She wrote: “Thank you for your letter and the inscribed copies of your books, Wishing on Dandelions and Watching the Tree Limbs. I appreciate your kind words of support and your generosity. President Bush joins me in sending best wishes. Sincerely, Laura Bush.” And then she signed it.

How fun! Perhaps the First Lady will read the books and be blessed. I hope so.
