Rebecca Fussell

Dec 4, 2017Restory Show

I’m happy to welcome Rebecca Fussell to the Restory Show this week. I met her via my writers mentoring intensive! She has a difficult but amazing story about the anatomy of a marriage breakup. Such pain! But also such amazing hope as she learned again and again that Jesus is so trustworthy and beautiful. This episode will really remind you of His faithfulness.

[“Divorce is not the end to your Jesus story. @RebeccaFussell shares how she learned more about Jesus in the midst of pain.”]

As in all my episodes, I pray for you at the end. It’s my sincere hope that you’ll walk away from the Restory Show changed and challenged.

Love how real and raw Rebecca is as she shares not only where she’s been and what she’s been through, but also how she walked through her crisis of faith with God and how He began to redeem her pain and make beauty out of ashes. Thanks Mary for your heart to share others God-stories so we can all be encouraged how to find those God-prints in our own stories.

This show slew me this morning. I rolled through Starbucks drive through with tears streaming! I know we all need to be reminded just how much God loves us, but hearing it this morning was so moving and touching. I really related to Rebecca’s story of her first marriage even though different circumstances. I don’t feel so alone with my judgement error so many years ago. When she talked about saying she did “all the right things,” I thought about one morning a couple of years ago when I had a meltdown in my back yard beating my lawn tractor and screaming at God because I had done “all the right things” so why was this happening to me. He opened my eyes that day to see Him.
