Today I’m so excited to welcome Troy Cady to the Restory Show. He is a thinker, an amazing and resilient person, and I love his playful heart. He founded a ministry called PLAYFULL. Take a gander because the idea is both winsome and life changing. We do need to play more, don’t you think?

[“Oh how we need to stop being so grown up & learn to play. Hear Troy Cady’s story today.”]

As in all my episodes, I pray for you at the end. It’s my sincere hope that you’ll walk away from the Restory Show changed and challenged.

Request:

  • If this episode has literally knocked your socks off (sorry if your feet are now cold), would you please consider telling your friends and enemies and pets?
  • And leaving a review will help get the restory show in many more earbuds. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for having Troy on your podcast today. I identified with a few things he talked about. Oddly enough it was about getting run over by a car. I wasn’t all the way under the wheel, but the wheel was close enough to my head to peel off my hair at the time. My mom looked out the door and screamed for the person to stop. It wasn’t my dad but someone visiting my aunts home where we were also visiting. So when Troy said, he knew that when he survived getting run over that God spared him for a purpose, that opened my eyes that I too was spared by God for a purpose.I have been wondering lately what God wants me to do next…so maybe I will discover it sooner rather than later.
The other thing he mentioned was when he was having a faith crisis and wondered if it was all real and was there really a God, and all those kinds of questions that comes to your mind. I too have had those thoughts as well, and I really think many Christians do at one time or another in their lives. Sometimes it’s a fleeting thought, and other times we ponder those thoughts a little longer until we know deep in our hearts that yes, it is real, there is a God, He did die for us, He does love us unconditionally and we are changed within. I have also thought that if there’s millions and millions of Christians since time began, we can’t all be wrong. 😉
So, thanks Mary for encouraging me today with this podcast and letting me know other people do think like I do. 😉
