Every Christian can change the landscape of other people’s spiritual lives by embracing four truths.
Truth One:You are ALL ________ in God’s kingdom.
Truth Two: Your job is to be a ___________ despite how others might react.
Truth Three: Jesus heals with a word so you will bless a dying world with your _________.
Truth Four:The One who heals gets the ________.
“He left the meeting place and went to Simon’s house. Simon’s mother-in-law was running a high fever and they asked him to do something for her. He stood over her, told the fever to leave—and it left. Before they knew it, she was up getting dinner for them.” Luke 4:38-39 (MSG)
Psalm 40: New Living Translation: I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord. (If you’d like to read more, click here).
“We serve God whether people honor us or despise us, whether they slander us or praise us. We are honest, but they call us imposters. We are ignored, even though we are well known.” 2 Cor 6:8-9
Acts 4:18-20 (MSG) They called them back and warned them that they were on no account ever again to speak or teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John spoke right back, “Whether it’s right in God’s eyes to listen to you rather than to God, you decide. As for us, there’s no question—we can’t keep quiet about what we’ve seen and heard.”
Acts 1:6-8 (MSG) 6 When they were together for the last time they asked, “Master, are you going to restore the kingdom to Israel now? Is this the time?”7-8 He told them, “You don’t get to know the time. Timing is the Father’s business. What you’ll get is the Holy Spirit. And when the Holy Spirit comes on you, you will be able to be my witnesses in Jerusalem, all over Judea and Samaria, even to the ends of the world.”
Colossians 4:3-6(NLT) 3 Pray for us, too, that God will give us many opportunities to speak about his mysterious plan concerning Christ. That is why I am here in chains. 4 Pray that I will proclaim this message as clearly as I should.5 Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity. 6 Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone.
