There’s something inside me that loves home. I revel in it, love hanging out in it. Along with my husband and kids, I’m a homebody.

Whenever we’ve moved, my first task, besides maniacally unpacking every. single. box is to make it a home. To find spots where we can gather. To decorate in a way that shows simplicity and fosters togetherness.

In January, we’ll be in our home here in Texas longer than any other place we’ve lived. It’s truly feeling home-like. In fact, I wrote a novel set in this hometown I’ve adopted, I’m so enamored with it. Home, sweet, home.
