Feeling Unloved and Unseen? Two ways to be prayed for.

Jun 18, 2018Find joy today, Heal from the past

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve received correspondence like this:

I’m sure you hear it every day, all day, how your personal prayers seem to be just what we need for that particular time or season in someone’s life. & I am no different on this. This last year & 1/2 has been my most difficult year in almost 30 yrs. Yes I have had trials a many over the years, but this one has been the worst. When I ran across you, & I honestly don’t remember where, I believed that you would pray, but, I just know that every prayer I have received has hit every area of what I have been walking through. Yes literally every area. I have saved them & reread some of them. I would just like to say, “Thank you” from the bottom of my heart.
This came through someone who receives my free Monday prayers. Every Monday in your inbox, you’ll receive a personalized prayer–a way to start off the day with joy and intention. Someone told me she felt like I was the only one praying for her, which made me sad, but also grateful to be a part of encouraging her. She is known and loved by her Creator, and it’s my privilege to pray for her (and for you!). If you’d like an email prayer every Monday, just click the graphic below to sign up:
Or if you’re feeling especially unseen and you need a daily prayer, consider signing up for my Pray Every Day prayer podcast. You’ll hear me pray for you through Scripture every single day of the year. This month we’re reading through the Sermon on the Mount. Just click below to learn how to subscribe on your phone:

Here’s what I want you to know. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. I count it as my privilege to pray for you, whether by email or through my daily podcast.

Mind if I pray for you now?

Jesus, I pray for the person reading this prayer that You would bring specific encouragement today as they read this. Interrupt their lives with your tangible love. Renew hope when hope has run far, far away. Restore what’s been lost. Repair what’s been broken. Renew what’s been stolen. Rejuvenate what has died. Refresh when the trials of the day usher in doom and fear. I trust You to hear the cries of the broken, the alone, the lonely, and those who feel insignificant. Restore the joy of our salvation and hold us close. Amen.
