Are you worried? Here’s a prayer for your fridge

Sep 6, 2012Archive

It’s time we call worry what it is: plain old sin. When we become worrywarts, we assume the place of God and try to become the answer to our own prayers by fretting and stewing.

But God has a better way. He wants us to let Him be God, take ourselves off the throne of worry, and hand Him every single fear we have.

In order to do that, I’ve created a worrywart prayer. Feel free to right click the graphic, view it alone in the browser, then save it. Print it out and put it on your fridge, if you’d like. Or on your mirror. Or in your car. May this be a reminder to let go of worry into God’s capable hands.

This prayer comes from Everything: What You Give and What You Gain to Become Like Jesus. Did you know I have an Everything page here on the site? Click here to see cool stuff. The book releases October 16th.
