2012: Ask for a Picture for the Year

8 Comments 16 December 2011

Why not do something a little different? Ask God for a picture this next year. Spend some time asking Him to show you the picture He has for you.

I would like to send a pic for the new year, and a word, but I am not sure how to do it.

This is the best idea! My little gray cells are churning away. I can’t wait to see what visual will unfold. Thank you Mary.

Being such a visual person…. I LOVE this idea. Now my thoughts and spirit are running. Thank you for taking the time to share this.

I know what you mean, Danielle. I didn’t realize how visual I was until I spent some time praying through the creation of a vision board for 2011. I spent the morning with friends seeking God and pulling from magazines the images and words I felt He was showing me for 2011. It captured yearnings, hopes, dreams and the people I most love. I hung it up on my wall in the closet where I get dressed each day and saw it every single day this year. It was like a love letter from Him as I saw things unfold through the weeks and months. Amazing! I totally recommend seeking a visual New Year image from the Lord!
